Tajik Athletes Will Take Part in the Asian U-22 Boxing Championship

DUSHANBE, 17.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Seven Tajik athletes will take part in the Asian U-22 Boxing Championship, which will be held from January 18 through January 26 in Bangkok (Thailand).
Totally, 243 athletes from 21 countries will participate in the tournament.
The Boxing Federation of Tajikistan sent 6 men and 1 woman, including they are Khusravkhon Rahimov (- 57 kg), Abubakr Murodzoda (– 60 kg), Dovud Mahkamov (- 71 kg), Abdumalik Boltaev (- 75 kg), Shahboz Haitov (- 80 kg), Asadbek Mannonov (+ 92 kg) and Bibinishastamo Kholova (- 60 kg).
The athletes will be accompanied by coaches Mahmadjon Sulaymonov and Khurshed Abdulloev. Tajik judges
Akmaljon Abdulloev and Mehroj Umarov will referee the championship fights.
The first Asian U-22 Boxing Championship was held in January last year in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), where Tajik athletes won 11 medals, including 1 gold.
