Sughd and Nizhny Novgorod Entrepreneurs Sign 13 Cooperation Agreements

DUSHANBE, 10.02.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Entrepreneurs of the Tajik Sughd and Russian Nizhny Novgorod regions signed 13 cooperation agreements following the results of a business forum held in the Nizhny Novgorod.
It was noted that the trade turnover between the Sughd region and the regions of Russia last year amounted to $616.6 million and the existing potential allows multiplying the volume of exchange of goods and products.
Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs were provided with detailed information about the state of the region’s economy, the development of industry and agriculture, as well as tourism opportunities.
The leadership of the regions proposed to strengthen cooperation in various sectors, including the production of finished cotton products, the extraction and processing of minerals and precious metals, pharmaceuticals, the processing of agricultural products, meat and dairy products, and mechanical engineering.
