Dushanbe Will Host the SCO XVIII Forum

DUSHANBE, 17.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) — The Center for Strategic Studies of Tajikistan will chair the XVIII Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) from May 22 through May 23.
The Forum is a multilateral public consultation and expert mechanism aimed at promoting and providing scientific and analytical support to the activities of the SCO, developing cooperation between research centers of the SCO member states, conducting joint research on topical issues within the organization, and expanding the exchange of views between scientists and experts in the field of politics, security, economics, sociology, ecology, new technologies, etc.
The Forum will be attended by leading heads and experts of analytical centers and scientific and analytical institutions of the member states, observers and SCO dialogue partners, the SCO Secretariat, representatives of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, as well as domestic experts.
