Over 565 Healthcare Facilities To Be Built in Khatlon by September

BOKHTAR, 02.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – 566 healthcare facilities will be built in the Khatlon region by the 30th anniversary of independence..
Until today, 481 have already been built and put into operation. The construction of the remaining 85 facilities is nearing completion, reports Khatlon’s Health Department.
There are 1,668 medical facilities in Khatlon, including 52 regional facilities, 33 hospitals, 11 outpatient facilities, 24 city hospitals, 58 district hospitals, 22 district polyclinics, 369 rural polyclinics, and 709 medical centers.
Over 35,455 people work in medical facilities of Khatlon, including 3,852 doctors, 18,841 nurses, and 7,350 junior medical personnel.
