PM Rasulzoda Meets Deputies of the Parliament of the European Union

DUSHANBE, 17.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with a delegation of deputies of the European Union led by Andris Ameriks.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan, on the basis of the open door policy, has established good and friendly cooperation with the countries of the world, including the countries of the European Union.
The parties stated that the annual meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee are an effective basis for a constructive dialogue between both parties, and the Cooperation and Partnership Agreement between Tajikistan and the European Union of 2004 is considered a fundamental basis for relations.
The parties also expressed interest in bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of science and education, health, disaster risk reduction, climate change, water ecology, economics and investment, energy, agriculture, tourism and strengthening integration in these areas.
