Tajikistan and Qatar Cooperate to Develop Stock Exchange and E-Commerce

DUSHANBE, 13.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the state visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of trade between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Commerce and Industryof the State of Qatar was signed in Dushanbe.
The document will promote cooperation in order to create favorable conditions for the development of bilateral trade based on mutually beneficial principles in the following areas, including the exchange of experience in the development of domestic and foreign trade, the development and promotion of exports of goods and services, the improvement of trade infrastructure, the expansion of the stock exchange and e-commerce, promotion of dialogue between public and private structures, corporate communication in personnel training, exchange of innovative experience, cooperation between enterprises, including facilitation of trade in goods and products.
Iin general, following the results of top-level meetings and talks between Tajikistan and the State of Qatar, 15 new cooperation documents were signed.
