Tajikistan and the European Union Hold Cooperation Council Meeting in Luxembourg

DUSHANBE, 29.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, the Cooperation Council between Tajikistan and the European Union held its tenth meeting in Luxembourg. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Tobias Billström headed the delegations.
The parties exchanged views on the key aspects of partnership and cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU, including in political and economic spheres.
The meeting also focused on the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, trade-economic, water and energy, security, fight against terrorism and extremism, human rights fields, current international and regional issues.
