17 Health Facilities Were Built in the South of Tajikistan This Year

DUSHANBE, 31.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) — For 6 months of 2023, 17 healthcare facilities worth more than 11 million somoni were built in the cities and districts of Khatlon region. It was stated at a press conference of the Main Department of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Khatlon region.
Currently, construction works are continuing in 47 medical institutions of cities and districts within the State Program for the development of healthcare and social protection of the population of the Khatlon region for 2021-2025.
As part of the program Maternal and Child Health and Emergency Care, the Ministry of Health and Population Protection of the Population has implemented a project for the construction and equipping of central hospitals in the districts of Jaloliddin Balkhi, Vakhsh and Temurmalik with funding from the governments of Tajikistan and Germany.
