Development of Jiu-Jitsu in Tajikistan Discussed in Thailand

DUSHANBE, 10.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan Abdullo Rahmonzoda met with a representative of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
The meeting took place as part of the 42nd General Electoral Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia, which was held in Bangkok.
The meeting focused on the development of jiu-jitsu in Tajikistan, as well as the participation of the Tajik national jiu-jitsu team in international competitions, the World and Asian Championships, as well as in the Asian Games.
It should be noted that the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Tajikistan was recognized by the Committee for Youth and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan as a newly created Federation.
In the future, the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Tajikistan, as a member of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Union and the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, will represent Tajikistan in all world-class competitions.
