Dust Storm and Danger of Mudslides Will Remain in Tajikistan until July 21

DUSHANBE, 20.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Hydrometeorology Agency reports that the dust storm in Tajikistan will continue until July 21.
The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense asks the population to observe all precautionary measures.
It was stated that in order to prevent the consequences of mudslides, it is necessary to clear mudflows and ditches from garbage, as far as possible, refrain from collecting firewood, fishing, grazing and hunting in dangerous areas.
The Committee reminds drivers and fans of mountaineering, mountain auto, motorcycle and cycling that when driving in mountainous terrain, it is necessary to strictly observe safety precautions, as well as the established interval of movement.
