Over 400 Facilities Will Be Put Into Operation in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region by the End of 2023

DUSHANBE, 31.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) — Over the past six months, more than 600 objects of various purposes have been built in the cities and districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, most of which will contribute to the development of tourism.
More than 400 facilities will be put into operation by the end of the year. Currently, 51 travel agencies are operating in the region, dozens of permanent and seasonal hotels are ready to serve tourists. Especially, work continues on two strategic objects: the reconstruction of the Dushanbe—Khorug — Kulma highway with a length of 92 km from the center of Darvoz district to the administrative border of Rushon district and the construction of the Sebzor hydroelectric power station in Roshtkala district.
