Tajik and Chinese Private Sectors Sign Cooperation Documents Worth More Than $400 Million

DUSHANBE, 23.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the official visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly to China, on August 22, a ceremony was held to sign documents on cooperation between the private sectors of Tajikistan and China, totaling more than $400 million.
In particular, the Framework Agreement between the Open Joint Stock Company «Azot» of Tajikistan and the Runjong Holding Group of China on the modernization and increase to 180,000 tons per year of urea production at the enterprise of the Open Joint Stock Company «Azot» in the amount of $ 50 million.
– A Framework Agreement between Asia Chemical Limited Liability Company of Tajikistan and Runjong Holding Group of China on the construction of a new carbamide production plant in Tajikistan with a capacity of 300,000 tons per year in the amount of $300 million.
– Memorandum between Avesto Group Limited Liability Company of Tajikistan and Jinchuen Company of China on the organization, creation and management of a joint venture for the production of electric vehicles in Tajikistan with a production capacity of 1,500 vehicles per year in the amount of $ 25 million.
– Memorandum between Marmari Limited Liability Company of Tajikistan and Tajong Interprice Management Consulting Co. Ltd. on the establishment of a joint venture for the construction and operation of a logistics center in Tajikistan in the amount of $26 million.
