Jamoliddin Abdullozoda and Hans Kluger Discuss Issue of Improving Public Health in the Region

DUSHANBE, 16.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 13, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda held a meeting with the Regional Director of the World Health Organization for Europe Hans Kluger, during which the issue of improving the health of the population in the region was discussed.
It was emphasized that in Tajikistan, the issue of public health is in the center of attention of the state and the government. In order to improve the level and quality of medical care for residents, a number of important and timely measures have been taken, and work in this direction is systematically continuing.
The parties exchanged views on the “Road Map to Support Health and Well-Being in Central Asia for 2022-2025” and called it important to develop such a relevant document in improving the health status of the population in the region.
Then Abdullozoda and Kluger went to the Istiklol health complex, where they took part and spoke at virtual consultations with experts from the World Health Organization.
