DUSHANBE, 20.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 19, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York, United States of America, on the sidelines of the general debate of the 78th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations met with the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

During the meeting, issues of strengthening and expanding relations between Tajikistan and Algeria were discussed.

During the meeting, the parties paid attention to the issue of expansion of relations between the two countries in areas beneficial for both sides, as well as the important issues related to agenda of the general debates of the 78th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
