Tajik Futsal Team Attends the Tournament in Minsk

DUSHANBE, 12.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of preparation for the 2024 Asian Cup qualifiers, Tajik futsal team took part in an international tournament dedicated to the 956th anniversary of Minsk.
In the first match, Tajik team played draw with the champion of Russia — the futsal club of the Russian Communist Party with the score of 4-4.
In another match, the futsal players of Tajikistan lost to the Belarusian team with a score of 2-3.
As a result, Belarusia won the tournament with four points. The Russian club received silver medals. Tajikistan won bronze medals.
In the 2024 Asian Cup qualifiers, which will be held from October 7 through October 11 in Dushanbe, Tajik futsal team will play in Group E against India (October 7), Palestine (October 9) and Myanmar (October 11).
