Winner of CAFA-2022 Women Championship Will Be Determined Tomorrow in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 19.07.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The winner of the first in the history of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) championship among women’s national teams will be determined on Wednesday, July 20.
After the next round, Uzbekistan and Iran with 9 points each are leading the standings.
In the final round, they will meet in a face-to-face match. In order to win gold medals, the Uzbek team will be satisfied with a draw, while the Iranian team needs a victory to become the winner of the CAFA-2022 championship.
Tajikistan retains its chances for bronze medals. In the last round, the Tajik team needs to defeat Kyrgyzstan in order to win bronze medals. Any other outcome of the match will leave Tajikistan on the last line in the standings.
