A Document Aimed at Disaster Risk Management in Central Asia Signed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 11.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – An agreement on the implementation of a technical cooperation project within the framework of the Regional Program “Climate Risk Management in Central Asia” was signed on October 9 by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Bahodur Sheralizoda and the Head of the Department of the German Society for International Cooperation for the Western Balkans, Central Asia and Eastern Europe Daniel Passon.
The goal of the program is to improve transboundary climate and disaster risk management in Central Asia.
The parties exchanged views on the current situation and prospects for cooperation in the field of environmental protection, as well as expressed satisfaction with bilateral cooperation.
