Tajikistan Will Prepare a Pavilion at the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai

DUSHANBE, 03.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The preparation of Tajikistan’s pavilion at the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai was discussed in Dushanbe.
On September 28, during a meeting with the Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the UN Office for Project Services for Partnership Development Rostislav Virbensky, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Abdukodir Mavlodod proposed considering the possibility of providing information materials and holding a site event in Tajikistan’s pavilion.
The meeting also focused on issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection, climate change, waste management and desertification.
The UN Climate Change Conference will start in Dubai at the end of November. Conference participants will set the direction of the fight against climate change for the rest of the decade.
