Moscow Hosts a Meeting of the Tajik and Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 19.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia was held in Moscow with the participation of the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Marat Khusnullin.
The meeting focused on a number of important areas. The further interaction within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission was planned for the next year. The parties came to an understanding on some issues requiring urgent resolution.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan is interested in increasing Tajik-Russian strategic cooperation in all possible areas and is ready to continue to make all necessary efforts to develop systematic cooperation.
It was signed a number of agreements, including the Protocol of joint activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
Intergovernmental agreements were also signed on the conditions for the construction and operation of an educational center for gifted children and the Vladimir Mayakovsky Drama Theater in Dushanbe.
