Supplying Environmentally Friendly Products from Tajikistan to China Discussed in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 25.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ahliddin Nuriddinzoda met with a delegation of the Kashgar district of the Chinese Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region headed by the Secretary of the city committee Yao Ning.
The meeting focused on priority areas of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including the creation of joint ventures in the free economic zones of Tajikistan, the construction of intensive parks and the creation of industrial enterprises for the extraction of minerals and processing of metals to final products in Tajikistan.
The parties also discussed issues of education, healthcare, agriculture, including the supply of environmentally friendly (organic) and unique in taste fruits and vegetables from Tajikistan to China, in particular to the Kashgar district.
Also, the Secretary of the Kashgar District City Committee invited the Tajik side to take part as an honored guest at the Exhibition, which will be held in Kashgar in May 2024.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
