DUSHANBE, 19.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, at the invitation of the Chair of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova and the Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) Mohammad Reza Majidi, the Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda left for Baku to attend the APA 14th session.
The session will be held from February 19 through February 26.
Its agenda will include a number of issues, including approval of the agenda, elections to the bureau, the report of the Chairman of the first meeting of the Executive Committee, a speech by the APA Secretary General, consideration of draft decisions of the standing commissions on economic and sustainable development, budget and planning, socio-cultural, political development, as well as approval of the candidacy of the Deputy Chairman for 2024, consideration and adoption of the draft agenda of the 14th session and other issues.
