DUSHANBE, 21.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, as part of his visit to Baku and participation in the 14th session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda met with First Vice Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer.
It was noted that one of the important tools for strengthening parliamentary cooperation is the creation of inter-parliamentary friendship groups, which, in essence, are a bridge of friendship and cooperation between the parliaments of the two states.
It was said that a group of friendship and cooperation between the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan and the Federal National Council of the UAE has been created in Tajikistan. The first interparliamentary consultations took place on February 25, 2021, via online.
