WHO Ready to Expand Cooperation with Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 21.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The World Health Organization is ready to expand cooperation with Tajikistan. This was stated on February 19 at a meeting of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda with the Director of the Division of Country Health Policies and Systems at the WHO Regional Office for Europe Natasha Azzopardi-Muscat.
It was noted that the contribution of theWHO Regional Office for Europe to strengthening the healthcare system of Tajikistan is very significant.
With the WHO support, a lot of work has been done to strengthen primary health care, financing the health system, human resources, access to medicines and digitalization.
