Attracting Funds for the Construction of the Roghun HPP Discussed in Abu Dhabi

DUSHANBE, 01.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 28, on the sidelines of the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi.
The meeting focused on issue of atracting funds for the construction project of the Roghun hydroelectric power station.
Zavkizoda emphasizing the country’s great energy potential, especially green energy, called on Al Suwaidi to finance the construction of the Roghun hydropower plant, solar and wind power plants.
The parties expressed their readiness to further expand trade and economic cooperation.
