Cooperation between Tajikistan and the UNOSSC Discussed in New York

DUSHANBE, 11.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – New York hosted a meeting between the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations (UN) Jonibek Hikmat and the Director of the UN Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) Dima Al-Khatib.
The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN Office for South-South Cooperation, as well as expressed their readiness to hold joint events within the framework of international water platforms, in particular, the 3rd conference of the group of landlocked developing countries.
Dima Al-Khatib was provided with detailed information about the 3rd Dushanbe Water Conference, which will take place from June 10 through June 13 this year.
He was also invited to participate in this upcoming event.
