New York Hosts a Meeting of the Co-chairs of the 2023 UN Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 23.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 22, on the sidelines of the high-level event “World Water Day 2024” in New York, delegations of the co-chairing countries of the UN Water Conference 2023, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Water Resources of the Netherlands, met at the site of last year’s conference and again noted the successful bilateral cooperation of the parties at last year’s historic conference.
The heads of the two delegations emphasized the need to continue the process of implementing the Water Action Agenda and supporting the implementation of voluntary commitments from last year’s conference.
