Tajik Center for Strategic Research and International Institute of Central Asia Discusses Issues of Scientific and Analytical Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 28.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 27, 2024, an online meeting was held between the director of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Director of the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA), Javlon Vakhobov.
The conversation focused on a wide range of issues of bilateral analytical exchange.
At the outside, Usmonzoda congratulated his counterpart on appointment as director of IICA and expressed confidence that under his leadership, scientific and analytical cooperation between both institutes will continue to develop and expand.
While expressing his satisfaction over the close and productive relations between the parties in recent years, Vakhobov affirmed his commitment to further deepen the joint analytical and expert ties.
The parties also agreed to hold a joint international conference on the topic “Uzbekistan and Tajikistan: new prospects for strategic partnership and alliance”.
The International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), established in 2020, is engaged in interdisciplinary research on civilizational diversity and modern processes of broad development in Central Asia. IICA aims to promote the establishment and strengthening of close research and expert interaction in the common interests of the countries of the region.
