UNECE Will Provide Technical Assistance to Tajikistan in Preparation for SPECA Activities

DUSHANBE, 15.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) regional forum on sustainable development on March 13 in Geneva, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with the UNECE Executive Secretary Tatyana Molchan.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation in the areas of green economy development.
It was noted that, at the request of Tajikistan, the UNECE will provide technical assistance in preparing for the activities of the UN Special Program on the Economics of Central Asia (SPECA), which will be chaired by Tajikistan in 2024.
