DUSHANBE, 29.04.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. On April 29, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the building of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda.

First, based on the instruction of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Emomali Rahmon, the results of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2024 were considered.

Heads of ministries and state agencies informed about the results of activity of important sectors of the national economy for the reporting period.

After the reports of responsible persons, the Prime Minister of the country set specific tasks for the heads of state structures to correct shortcomings, effective implementation of plans and realization of instructions and assignments of the Leader of the Nation.

The meeting heard the report of the Chairman of the Committee on Food Security of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Faizullozoda «On the food safety program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2028».

Then the drafts of a number of laws of the Republic of Tajikistan — «On the indicator for calculations», «On the Tajik National University», «On making Amendments to the Procedural Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses», «On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan», «On making Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tajikistan», «On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Education» and «On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan» were considered.

Members of the Government also discussed a drafts of a number of laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, including «On making Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Administrative Offenses», «On making Amendments and Additions to the Procedural Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses», «On making Amendments and Additions to the Economic Procedural Code of the Republic of Tajikistan» and «On making Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Mutual Legal Assistance».

At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan were considered the issues of the National Concept of Education Quality Assessment in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2044, the Board of Trustees of the Fund of Civil Initiatives to ensure public order and strengthen the rule of law and the establishment of the state unitary enterprise «Sports Complex» at the Tajik National University.
