DUSHANBE, 04.04.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov laid a wreath at the foot of the monument to the Founder of the first Tajik state — Shoh Ismoili Somoni.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials accompanied the high-ranking guest in the ceremony.
Let us remind that this morning the National Leader of Turkmen People, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, on an official visit.
Within the framework of this trip, Turkmen-Tajik meetings and negotiations at a high state level are envisaged. Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will consider a wide range of bilateral cooperation. After the meeting and high-level negotiations, a number of new documents on bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed.
The the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will meet with Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda.
He also will take part in a joint concert program of masters of arts of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
