Minister of Finance of Tajikistan participated in the OPEC Development Forum in Vienna

DUSHANBE, 26.06.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qahhorzoda Faiziddin participated and addressed the OPEC Development Forum entitled «Promoting Stability and Equality», which was held in the Hofburg Hall in Vienna, Austria.
The OPEC Development Forum, as a platform, brought together international leaders and experts from different countries to discuss modern ways of sustainable development, providing an opportunity for participants to exchange experience, ideas and boost partnerships.
The event was opened with the introductory speech of the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, and then an overview of the Fund’s activities in the direction of sustainable development was presented.
In the 3rd part of the Forum, which was dedicated to the topic «Unleashing human capital», the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan — Qahhorzoda Faiziddin Sattor expressed his opinion about the importance of the development of human capital in the promotion of sustainable economic development.
At the same time, during his speech, he informed about the experience and reforms carried out by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the direction of funding in the fields of education, healthcare and social protection, which contribute to inclusive growth.
