Presentation of the Dushanbe Water Process in Austria

DUSHANBE, 19.06.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/— The Anthropocene Forum, dedicated to environmental issues and climate change, took place in Heiligenblut, Austria.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Austria, Idibek Kalandar, presented detailed information on global water initiatives of Tajikistan, in particular, on the Dushanbe Water Process and the results of the Third High-Level International Conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”, which took place on 10-13 June, 2024 in Dushanbe.
During the Conference, experts and scientists in the field of the environment also exchanged views on the global problem of climate change, and the ambassadors of the Central Asian countries spoke about the undertaken measures and achievements of their countries in environmental issues, climate change, water resources management, as well as problems and challenges in this process.
