Tajik Minister of Health Attends the 25th International AIDS Conference

DUSHANBE, 26.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 23, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, participated and made speech at the 25th International AIDS Conference, which was held in Munich, Germany.
Abdullozoda told about Tajikistan’s experience in prevention and resistance against HIV.
In particular, he noted that 3 national programs for the protection of the population against HIV have been implemented in Tajikistan.
It should be noted that conference was attended by representatives of 175 countries. Participants discussed ways to prevent HIV infection.
On the margins of the conference, Abdullozoda met with the WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge.
The parties exchanged views on the “Roadmap for health and well-being in Central Asia for 2022-2025”.
