Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Cooperation in Private Sector and Attracting Investment

DUSHANBE, 25.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 24, a round table with the participation of 100 representatives of the public and private sectors of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia was held in Dushanbe.
It was chaired and coordinated by the leadership of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management.
The round table was aimed to implement the agreements reached by the governments of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to present the capacity and opportunities of investment in the economy of Tajikistan and in this context to expand trade and investment cooperation by organizing a free dialogue between entrepreneurs and investors and finding new ways of cooperation in the direction of creation of joint ventures.
The round table focused on the areas of energy, agriculture, tourism, industry, infrastructure, services, information technologies and other priority areas.
As part of round table, bilateral meetings were held in B2B and B2G formats.
The participants highly appreciated the development of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, which covers all economic spheres, and agreed to regularly hold such events.
