Tajikistan and the World Bank Discuss Diversification & Creaton of New Jobs
DUSHANBE, 23.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and the World Bank mission led by Andrea Dall’Olio met on Tuesday in Dushanbe to discuss the development of the rural economy.
The parties discussed the diversification of agricultural products, the introduction of modern technologies, the construction of greenhouses, manufacture of refrigerators, places for drying and packaging products, the creation of new jobs and the increase of the export potential of the country, reports the Press Center of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
They also touched upon the development of tourism, including the creation of a favorable infrastructure, the construction of hotels, the development of small aircrafts, the organization of shops for the sale of folk crafts and the presentation of historic sites at an international level.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop further cooperation.
