Tajikistan Attracting Grant Funds from Korea
DUSHANBE, 25.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan has approved the Model Grant Funding Agreement between Tajikistan and Korea during its 6th session chaired by Shukurjon Zuhurov.
“The purpose of the agreement is to attrac grants and direct investments from Korea for sustainable economic and social development of the country” he said.
The agreement is the basis for establishing the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) office in Tajikistan.
Korea is expected to provide 0.1% concessional loans to developing countries under the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF).
