Tajikistan and the Netherlands Discuss Water Cooperation in New York

DUSHANBE, 17.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with the Special Water Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Maike van Ginneken.
The meeting focused on issues of joint cooperation between states in implementing the Water Action Program to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and promoting the water theme at international platforms, including at the 29th Conference of the Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Ginneken, who took part in the Third High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” (June 10-13, Dushanbe), expressed his impressions of the successful results of this global decade.
