Sirojiddin Muhriddin attends the C5 + 1 meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and the United States

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 27, 2024, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian countries and the United States met in the “C5+1” format.
Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the meeting and delivered a speech.
During this meeting, the parties exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues, including combating terrorism and extremism, cybercrime, human rights protection, as well as other modern challenges, and emphasized the need of strengthening cooperation and joint measures between regional countries to effectively tackle these issues.
