DUSHANBE, 08.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the administrative building of the main department of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in Khatlon Province in Bokhtar.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the provided opportunities, highly appreciated the quality of construction works and guided the employees to faithful and honest work and accurate statistical analysis and processing.

The administrative building of the main department of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in Khatlon Province has a total area of 834.5 square meters and consists of 4 floors, 24 office rooms, a basement, a library, a meeting room for 60 people and a data processing center.

During the visiting of the Honorable Emomali Rahmon it was informed that the newly constructed building is connected with an additional power line and, in necessary cases, a 100 kW generator is activated automatically.

In the basement of the building, the necessary facilities for the supply department, publishing center and canteen have been prepared.

During the construction works, more than 60 local residents were employed, and now 70 specialists are working in suitable working conditions.

Officials expressed their pleasure and gratitude for the opening of the new building equipped with all the necessary conditions.

Offices and Data Processing Center are equipped by the Project «Updating the National Statistics System in Tajikistan» in accordance with modern standards.
