Signing ceremony of new documents of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait

DUSHANBE, 03.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. After the high-level meeting and negotiations, a signing ceremony of new documents of cooperation was held in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
A total of 9 new cooperation documents were signed to strengthen and expand cooperative relations. Including 5 documents in the presence of the Heads of State and 4 others on the sidelines of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait:
— Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait on the regulation of the workforce in the private sector; — Memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait;
— Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait on commercial cooperation;
— Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait on cooperation in the field of industry;
— Protocol on introducing changes and additions to the «Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait on avoiding double taxation and preventing tax evasion on income and capital»;
— Agreement on cooperation between the National Information Agency of Tajikistan «Khovar» and the Information Agency of the State of Kuwait «Kuna»;
— Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait in the field of physical education and sports;
— Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait on cooperation in the field of standardization;
— Executive Program of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Kuwait on cooperation in the field of tourism for 2024-2026.
