At the meeting, the opinion was expressed on strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and the KFAED, which is carried out in the framework of mutual respect. The signing of an agreement worth 100 million dollars for the construction of Rogun HPP is an important direction of fruitful cooperation between Tajikistan and the KFAED.
More active participation of Kuwaiti capital in the implementation of major energy projects in the direction of “green” energy, especially hydropower and construction of power transmission lines, was considered important.
The meeting also exchanged views on increasing the Fund’s financing for the implementation of priority projects, especially in the areas of transport, education, health and other socio-economic sectors of Tajikistan.
