Tajik Specialists Take Part in the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification in Riyadh

DUSHANBE, 06.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification is being held from December 2 through December 13 in Riyadh, reports the Committee for Environmental Protection of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan is represented by specialists from the Committee for Environmental Protection.
It was noted that the Government of Tajikistan is taking measures to address the problems of drought, land degradation and desertification.
Conference participants are invited to the International Conference on Glacier Preservation to be held in May 2025 in Dushanbe.
