Participation of Tajik delegation in the International Tourism Exhibition discussed in Moscow

DUSHANBE, 08.01.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On January 7, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshokh Gulmakhmadzod met with Maxim Shilov, Director of the International Tourism Exhibition “MITT”.
As NIAT “Khovar” reports with reference to the Embassy of Tajikistan in Moscow, during the meeting they discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries, including the participation of the Tajik delegation in the International Tourism Exhibition “MITT” (March 18-20, 2025) and other issues of mutual interest.
It should be noted that in recent years the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan attaches special importance to the development of tourism opportunities. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon in his Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan noted the development of tourism as one of the priority directions of economic policy.
Participation of Tajik tourist companies in Moscow can be assessed as one of the important and timely events in this direction.
