Tajik, Uzbek Writers Celebrate Navruz at “Literary Friendship – Eternal Friendship” Event

DUSHANBE, 24.03.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Poets, writers and cultural figures from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan gathered in Tashkent for an event titled “Literary Friendship – Eternal Friendship” to mark the International Navruz, the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reported.
The program featured poetry readings and discussions highlighting the role of literature in promoting cultural cooperation and friendship between the two nations.
Participants said Navruz symbolizes unity, mutual understanding and enduring bonds, and stressed the importance of strengthening literary and cultural exchanges.
The event was hosted in the hall of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.
