FAO to Hold 35th Regional Conference in Dushanbe on Food Security, Climate Issues

DUSHANBE, 23.03.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – The 35th Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations will be held in Dushanbe from May 11–15, Khovar reported, citing the Ministry of Agriculture of the country.
The Food and Agriculture Organization is convening the conference to address food security, sustainable agricultural development, climate change and other pressing issues in the agricultural sector.
Representatives from 54 FAO member countries in Europe and Asia, along with leading international organizations, financial institutions and development partners, are expected to participate.
Earlier, the Government of Tajikistan and the FAO signed a memorandum of understanding to organize the 35th FAO Conference for Europe and Central Asia at a high level.
