Tile Production Enterprise Will Be Built in the Dangara Free Economic Zone

DUSHANBE, 07.01.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – An enterprise for the production of construction and facing products (tiles) will be built in the Dangara Free Economic Zone.
Earlier, deputies of the lower house of the Parliament of Tajikistan ratified an investment agreement between the country’s Government and the Tilemaster Investment Limited Company.
The purpose of this document is to attract foreign direct investment for the production of new import-substituting products, create new jobs and implement the country’s strategic goals in the direction of accelerated industrialization.
According to the document, the total investment in the implementation of this project is more than 50,000,000, and the construction period of the enterprise is one and a half years.
The production capacity will be 12,360,000 square meters per year.
When the enterprise starts production, more than 500 permanent jobs and 1,000 indirect jobs (construction, supply of raw materials and shipment of finished products) will be created.
At the first stage, at least 80 percent of the workers will be citizens of Tajikistan.
