After the special meeting of the Presidents of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, the ceremony of signing the historical document — the Protocol of Exchange of Ratifications of the Treaty between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the State Border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as two intergovernmental agreements — «On Ensuring Access to Water and Energy Facilities» and «On the Construction and Operation of Highways, Improvement and Operation of Highway Intersections» was held.

After the exchange of the Protocol of Exchange of Ratifications, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Sadyr Japarov, commissioned in virtual format the 500-kV Datka-Sughd power transmission line, which was built within the framework of the CASA-1000 project.
