President Emomali Rahmon presents gifts to 100 orphans in Khujand city

On March 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, after opening a number of various facilities in the cities and districts of the Sughd Province, met with 100 orphans from the cities and districts of the region in the city of Khujand.
The meeting of the Head of State with those who were deprived of their parents by fate testifies to the fact that orphans and those in need are the focus of attention and support from the state and Government.
During the conversation, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, congratulated the orphans on the holiday of Navruz, emphasizing that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is constantly taking effective measures to ensure their good living conditions.
«The operation of republican boarding schools for orphans in the cities and districts of the country and the provision of favorable living conditions in them actively contribute to the prosperous life and access of this segment of society to quality education,» — said the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon.
Here, the orphans received gifts from the hands of the caring and patriotic Leader. The gifts consisted of a set of clothes, sweets, and money. The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, urged them to study science, knowledge, crafts and professions.
