Based on the results of the talks between the Heads of State of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.

His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and His Excellency Sadyr Japarov signed the Joint Statement on further strengthening of friendship and good-neighborliness and the Treaty between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the State Border.

A total of 16 new cooperation documents were signed:

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Institution “Center for Development and Promotion of Export “Kyrgyz Export”” under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Inspectorate under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the veterinary field;

— Protocol between the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic on the organization of the exchange of advance information on goods and means of transport between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Cooperation Program between the Lakhsh District of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Chong-Alay District of the Osh Region of the Kyrgyz Republic in the fields of trade, economy, science, technology and culture for 2025-2027;

— Cooperation Program between the Osh Region of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of economy, trade, culture and humanitarian affairs for 2025-2030;

— Agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between the city of Dushanbe of the Republic of Tajikistan and the city of Bishkek of the Kyrgyz Republic;

— Cooperation Program between the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of physical culture and sports for 2025-2027;

— Cooperation Program between the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of youth policy for 2025-2027;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in ensuring earthquake resistance, development of «green» energy efficiency technologies and urban planning, and digitalization of the construction process;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of industry and new technologies;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation and exchange of information in the field of control over persons engaged in operations (transactions) with precious stones and metals, on issues of combating the financing of terrorist activities and legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime;

— Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the field of agriculture;

— Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on ensuring access to water and energy facilities;

— Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the construction and operation of highways, improvement and operation of highway intersections.
