On March 30, as part of the international Navruz celebrations in Khujand city, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, opened the construction panel production plant Tojpanel LLC.
The new industrial enterprise was built with the participation of entrepreneur Suhrob Mirzoahmadov, and its capacity is to produce 15 thousand square meters of decorative panels and 500 cubic meters of interior walls per year.
Currently, the newly built enterprise employs 20 local residents, and in the future, as production volumes boost, the number of jobs will be increased to 30 people.
It was reported that the cement and other raw materials used in production are domestic.
First of all, two types of products are prepared here to meet the needs of the domestic market — decorative panels for the exterior of buildings and interior walls of various shapes and sizes and of high quality, which are offered to buyers.
During the conversation, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, instructed officials that in the process of rapid industrialization, the number of such enterprises in the country should be increased, as this measure will reduce the import of construction products and contribute to the development of domestic production and the presentation of Tajikistan abroad.
The enterprise’s products are manufactured using modern equipment and technology produced in the People’s Republic of China, and their quality is guaranteed.
Currently, in the city of Khujand, in anticipation of the 35th anniversary of state independence, development measures are being expanded, including the construction of facilities for various purposes. Therefore, to support domestic manufacturers, the products of the newly built enterprise can be used in the construction of celebratory facilities, since support for high-quality domestic products doubles the motivation of manufacturing entrepreneurs.
It was reported that in 2024, with the contribution of entrepreneurs and the attraction of foreign investment, 48 new industrial factories and enterprises were put into operation in the city of Khujand, creating more than 1,000 new jobs, and construction work is currently underway on other facilities in the sector.
